Grupo Modelo Chairman and CEO Carlos Fernandez Resigns from Anheuser-Busch Board

ST. LOUIS, June 20, 2008 - Carlos Fernandez G., chairman and chief executive officer of Mexican brewer Grupo Modelo, S.A.B. de C.V., yesterday informed Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. (NYSE: BUD) of his resignation from the American brewer’s board of directors, effective immediately. “Carlos has always provided great value as a member of our board, with insights into the business,” said August A. Busch IV, president and chief executive officer of Anheuser-Busch. “He remains a respected colleague.”

The resignation reduces the Anheuser-Busch board to 13 members. Modelo is the importer and distributor of the Budweiser, Bud Light and O’Doul’s brands in Mexico.

Anheuser-Busch Acquires remaining 50% Ownership of Joint Venture in India

ST. LOUIS (June 20, 2008) - Anheuser-Busch, a leading global brewer, will purchase the remaining 50 percent ownership of the Crown Beers India Ltd. joint venture from its partner, Crown International. The acquisition includes the joint venture’s 500,000-hectoliter brewery in the southern city of Hyderabad.

“The Indian beer industry continues to grow at a rapid pace, and acquiring the remaining 50 percent of the Crown Beers joint venture reaffirms Anheuser-Busch’s commitment to being a key player in this emerging beer market,” said Tom Santel, president and chief executive officer, Anheuser-Busch International, Inc. “As Crown International looks to focus on its other successful businesses, this move will continue to best position the Budweiser brand for long-term growth in India.”

As we have previously indicated, our Board of Directors is evaluating your proposal carefully and in the context of all relevant factors, including Anheuser-Busch’s long-term strategic plan. Our Board will pursue the course of action that is in the best interests of Anheuser-Busch’s stockholders and expects to make its determination in due course.

Anheuser-Busch Launches Budweiser in Vietnam

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam (June 9, 2008) - Budweiser, the world famous and best-selling American-style lager, is being launched in Vietnam through an import and distribution agreement with the GANNON Distribution Company. Through this distribution deal, Budweiser will be available in Vietnam starting in early June.

“Vietnam is an exciting beer market and an important one for Anheuser-Busch to begin establishing and building the Budweiser brand,” said Tom Santel, chief executive officer and president, Anheuser-Busch International, Inc. “The country’s beer industry experienced double-digit volume growth for the past three years and already has a well-developed premium segment filled with consumers who will appreciate Budweiser’s clean, crisp and refreshing taste.”
