Miller Brewing Co. Announces Sponsorship of Wisconsin State Fair Through 2010

MILWAUKEE (June 20, 2008) - Miller Brewing Company today announced the renewal of its Grand Champion sponsorship of the Wisconsin State Fair through 2010. A new three-year contract was agreed upon for Miller to continue to serve as the official beer of the Main Stage and official sponsor of two pavilions and several elements during the 11-day event. Miller has been a longstanding and leading corporate partner of the Wisconsin State Fair.

“The Wisconsin State Fair has a history that’s as strong and proud as ours,” said Jackie Woodward, Miller Brewing vice president of media and marketing services. “We are thrilled to continue our commitment to this annual summertime tradition in Wisconsin and look forward to another successful fair this year and beyond.”

Miller Brewing Co. Employee Fund to Award $130,000 to Nine Milwaukee-Area Non-Profit Organizations

MILWAUKEE (June 2008) - The Miller Brewing Company Employee Fund (MBCEF) today announced its first round of grant awards to nine Milwaukee-area non-profit organizations totaling more than $130,000. MBCEF plans to announce a second round of grants later this year.

The programs MBCEF will benefit include:
*Next Door Foundation, Inc. - Leaders of Tomorrow after-school program for Milwaukee central city youth that focuses on improving school achievement, developing leadership and building important life skills.

*America’s Second Harvest of Wisconsin - Second Harvest’s Agency Food Fund Grant program ensures that member food pantries, meal programs and emergency shelters have continuous, reliable access to food.

Miller Brewing Company Releases 2008 Sustainable Development Report

MILWAUKEE (June 2008) - Miller Brewing Company today released its second annual Sustainable Development Report, entitled “Live Sustainably.” The report details the company’s progress against its global sustainable development priorities, including areas such as alcohol responsibility, water conservation, energy and carbon reduction, recycling, supply chain management and social investment. The report also features employees who are driving notable sustainable development efforts within the company.

Miller Lite Launches Comprehensive Soccer Program

MILWAUKEE (May 22, 2008) - Miller Lite today announced the launch of a summer-long marketing effort focused on the sport Hispanic consumers love most: soccer.
